Of course, we will give a detailed demonstration of how everything works when you collect your motorhome. The handover takes approx 1 hour maximum and each vehicle contains a handbook.

No. We offer three, four and seven night hire throughout.

If you look on our links page, as part of the Camping and Caravanning Club’s Privilege Scheme you have access to over 110 participating campsites, at discounted rates, throughout the duration of your hire period.

Is there a certain time I have to collect and return the Campervan?2021-02-24T14:49:58+00:00

Yes – Our collection times are from 3.30 p.m. to 5.30 p.m. and return times are between 9.00 a.m. and 10.30 a.m. These times can vary and we do our utmost to try and get you away as early as possible on your day of departure, but do ask that you return on time so that we can do the same for the next hirer. During low season, vehicles can often be collected and returned with a more flexibility.

During the COVID situation we will be taking additional steps to make sure our vehicles are COVID secure.

Is bedding and towels supplied in the Campervan?2021-02-24T14:48:48+00:00

Bedding & towels are not available. We ask that you bring your own.

If I want to return the Campervan a day early can I get a refund?2021-02-24T14:50:26+00:00

Sadly no as the insurance and other costs still have to be paid along with our cleaning and valeting staff.

Yes you can. For short breaks we have a weekend three night minimum hire, a four day weekday hire and a weekly seven night hire.

I have an old style licence with a paper endorsements sheet, is this acceptable?2020-11-05T14:03:54+00:00

No, we require to see and take a copy of the current UK licence.

I don’t have bills in my name at my address for the last 3 months, is that a problem?2020-11-05T14:03:05+00:00

Yes, you can’t get insurance without these proofs of ID and therefore cannot rent a motorhome from us. All paperwork must be complete and up to date without exception. If you are unsure of what you need to do contact us prior to your pickup date.

All of our vehicles are under 5 years old.

Do you just need to see my current driving licence?2020-11-05T14:05:09+00:00

No, we also have to see your driving record. You will have to obtain a ‘check code’ from the UK Gov website prior to vehicle collection. We will check your driving record on the day of collection. This can be obtained from the following link: https://www.gov.uk/view-driving-licence

The code is valid for 21 days.

Do you impose a mileage limit on your Campervans?2021-02-24T14:51:47+00:00

We offer unlimited mileage up to 1,000 miles a week (this is classed as excessive mileage by our insurers). After that mileage is charged at 50p per mile to cover servicing costs, repairs and depreciation.

Do I need a special license to drive one of your Campervans?2021-02-24T14:53:09+00:00

No, all you need is a full standard UK driving license, be over 25 and under 69 years of age and have been driving for 2 years without accidents.

Yes, you can in some vehicles. Please let us know the number and size of any dogs that you will be bringing when you are booking so that we can ensure that the camper vans are suitable to accommodate them. We advise no more than two small dogs.

Can I view and choose a specific Campervan?2021-02-24T14:52:43+00:00

We do not have facilities for drop in visits other than for collection or return. We do not guarantee a specific vehicle however, all the basic services and features are the same across our hire fleet.

Can I rent a Campervan in winter?2021-02-24T14:50:54+00:00

Yes, we hire a reduced fleet all year round. Hire prices are placed into three bands; low, medium and high seasons.

This is an additional paid option in our camper vans.

Our motorhomes are fitted with tracking devices for peace of mind. If you get lost, ring our 24 hour number and then we can trace you to within 3 metres of where you are. This enables the security/breakdown services to locate you quickly in an emergency.

Please note on all motorhomes 3 pin UK plugs only work when hooked up to a main power (240v) supply unless you use a generator. This does not stop the lights, fridge etc. or any 12v device working.
